A Message to North American Leaders
In November 2021, leaders of the US, Canada, and Mexico met in Washington, DC for the first time in five years for the American Leaders' Summit (NALS) - sometimes called the Three Amigos Summit. The trilateral discussion occurred at a critical time, with the global economy disrupted by COVID-19 and amidst the ongoing irresponsible actions of China.
In light of the meeting, a Mexico-based steel manufacturer sent an open letter to the leaders in the New York Times. Deacero is a true North American business with an extensive North American supply chain, a member of the American Steel Nail Coalition and a member of CANACERO, which advocates on behalf of the Mexican steel industry.
